'RHOA' Rookie Claudia Jordan In Shock Over Reality Show Casting

Claudia Jordan admitted that she was shocked and surprised just like the Real Housewives of Atlanta fans were when she realized she’d become a Georgia peach for season 7.

“I had no idea,” Jordan told her Rickey Smiley Morning Show co-workers. “I knew I’d been working on the show. I was brought in as a friend of the show and then I guess they decided to switch things up.”

Claudia, aka the rookie of the show will be joined by returning vets, Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss.

“I was surprised as everybody else yesterday and very humbled. I’m just very grateful for the opportunity,” Claudia added.

Jordan who has had her fair share of TV shows, competing season 2 of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, Claudia believes that a reality show like, RHOA is very different that could jeopardize her reputation.

“I was always nervous about reality TV…It always scared me,” Claudia admitted.

“If anyone kinda starts with me, I will pop off and say something smart, but there will be no violence; there will be no embarrassing myself. I’m 41 years old. I’ll probably pull a hamstring or something,” the entertainer said.
