Fans will want to know how Bones will continue season 10 on FOX, after killing off a supporting character from the cast. Reeling from the loss of Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley), will Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) be able to trust the new guy, Agent James Aubrey?

As we mentioned here, we saw how devastated Booth became over his friend's death. In the footage, Booth and Brennan's adorable daughter, Christine, was dressed and ready for "Uncle Sweets" to take her to the park. Already blaming himself for his frends' death, Booth starts to tear up as he watches Brennan explain to their innocent child about death.

Sweets' funeral was certainly a way for the entire cast to say goodbye to one of their own. And now Aubrey (John Boyd joining the cast) has stepped in as Sweets' successor. But just because Aubrey wants to help, that doesn't mean Booth will accept it.

In an interview with TV Fanatic, executive producer Stephen Nathan explains how the friction between the two agents is integral to the emotional arc, "Booth is going to have to learn to trust Aubrey and Aubrey is going to have to earn Booth's trust. We will be getting to know Aubrey in these first five or six episodes because he's going to be a very valuable member of the team and slowly become a member of the family as well. He's a strange guy, but he's a brilliant agent who is un-intimidated.

From TVLine, check out this scene from the tonight's all-new episode as Aubrey tries to keep his lunch during the crime scene investigation. We can already tell Aubrey is going to have tough time dealing with Brennan's squeamish crime scenes.

Bones continues Thursdays 8pm on FOX . Readers, what did you think of Agent Aubrey?
