Update: Larry Johnson Sued Over Miami Brawl, "Walking Time Bomb" on Night Club Strip

Former NFL star Larry Johnson continues to face the repercussions of his actions following the Miami nightclub incident that occurred during the early morning hours of Tuesday, Oct. 7, for which he was arrested and detained on charges of battery and aggravated assault.

In the latest update, TMZ is reporting that Johnson's alleged victim, Drew Johnson, has filed a lawsuit against the one-time Miami Dolphins running back. Drew is reportedly asking for more than $15,000 in damages, citing "physical pain, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, physical scarring and disfigurement and medical expenses."

TMZ claims to have obtained a copy of the lawsuit, which they say states that Larry "broke a bottle and then began using the bottle as a weapon, cutting [Drew] with the intent on causing serious bodily injury."

Johnson, however, has released a statement claiming that all of the charges against him are completely inaccurate.

"The charge for which I was arrested is false," Johnson said in a statement released by his lawyer, Jordan B. Abramowitz, according to NBC Sports. "The stories that have been reported in the media about the events leading to my arrest fail to accurately portray what really happened.  At the end of the day, when the truth comes out, the allegations that have been made against me will be shown to be completely untrue and confirm that I have committed no crime whatsoever."

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, several Miami club owners came forward to tell TMZ that Larry has a long history of making threats against them. He was once banned from several of the hottest spots around town when people started noticing his "combative behavior" and even labeled him a "walking time bomb."

TMZ also notes that last week Johnson posted - and then promptly deleted - a message on Instagram that read, "I'm unfollowing all club and industry people unless your my friends. CUZ let's face it none of your man or them would fight me and I'd prolly whoop yall ass and YALL won't be s-t anyway."
