Since the launch of her singing career, a few years ago, it seems Ariana Grande has been wearing the same hairstyle: a long, flowy pony. Recent photos, however, lead us to believe that the young star may be ditching the ponytail we've all grown so accustomed to.

But now, according to The Huffington Post, the 21-year-old pop princess stepped out in London on Wednesday, and surprisingly, her hair was styled in a half-up, half-down blowout. Super chic!

Earlier this year, Grande took to Instagram to address the fact that "people give [her] such a hard time about her hair." She explained that she essentially destroyed her natural hair, when she had to bleach and dye it red "every other week" on the Nickelodeon show Sam & Cat. In the post she also mentioned that she wears fake hair styled in a ponytail, because her "actual hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd" when she wears it down.

Grande, however, has been wearing her hair down in recent photos she has posted via Instagram. The former Nickelodeon star captioned one photo, "spontaneous photo shoot the other day, told @dalinaway to do whatever she wanted to my hair #jonestookthis" with her long, beautiful locks falling freely. It looks like hairstylist, Dalina Robollo, did an amazing job with Grande's hair, which looked super shiny and healthy in a warm shade of caramel.

Perhaps her natural hair has grown out enough to wear down. Maybe she's just wearing different extensions, or changed her hair stylists. Whatever the case, this is definitely a look we love. Go on, Ariana. Let your hair down!
