To own an NFL franchise, the said ownership must be backed by millions and millions of dollars. That's exactly why there has been talk of Diddy and Rick Ross buying the Miami Dolphins, and Donald Trump buying the Buffalo Bills. Is it wise for these non-football men to get involved with the sport, and could they be beneficial to the franchises mentioned? This may become the latest trend. While average friends show off their new watch, it seems these guys want to show off their football franchise.

Rick has revealed he discussed buying a portion of the Dolphins' team, but Diddy has previously insisted that he wants to own the majority of a team. Could the pair join together and buy the Dolphins? Their finances, together, would make it an option. Surely the music stars would create even more publicity for the already famous Dolphins, so perhaps it'd be a good thing after all.

Trump, however, is no longer interested in buying the Bills. He struggled to agree a deal to buy the team, but insisted it would be a bad investment, and that he's glad he's steered clear. The franchise sold for $1.4 billion dollars, so perhaps Trump was right, as that's a lot of money for a struggling side.

Will this trio get their way, and could they join forces to buy a team? If so, watch out, as they want a winning team, and they usually get what they want. Should music stars become football owners, or should they avoid this new venture?
