WWE Rumors: Did TNA Make an Offer to CM Punk? Will The Rock Compete at WrestleMania 31?

The latest batch of WWE rumors and spoilers features many of the biggest names in the business, so let's dive right in and see what's happening in the wacky world of pro wrestling.

Some reports had circulated earlier this week that TNA had made a major play for CM Punk, who left WWE in January, and offered to make him the top star in the company. But now, PW Insider reports the rumors were unfounded. The site asked what it claims were high-level sources within TNA, who told PW Insider that the company made no such offer and the rumors were untrue.

The Rock returned to WWE television on Monday night when he showed up at Monday Night Raw in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn to confront Rusev and Lana. This of course sparked rumors of The Great One returning to compete in the ring, and those fires were only stoked by reports of a taped backstage segment between The Rock and Triple H, which will air on Friday Night SmackDown tonight, that teases a WrestleMania 31 match between the two.

But The Rock threw a wet blanket on the rumors when TMZ caught up with him and asked if he would be back for another match. "I don't think so," he replied. "No, no. I might get hit in the mouth. I don't want that."

It's hard to tell if The Rock was being coy, but let's not forget that he did suffer a legitimate injury against John Cena at WrestleMania 29. This reportedly derailed plans for Rock to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, and it also caused a delay in the filming of The Rock's movie Hercules. So it's certainly plausible The Rock does
