Lewis Hamilton Wins Russian Grand Prix: Formula One Star Takes Ninth Win Of Year & Extends Championship Leadership: Mercedes Win Constructors' Title

Lewis Hamilton is having a Formula One season to remember, and so is Mercedes, his driving team. He has extended his driving championship lead, and his team have now won the Constructors' title, adding more glory to his already impressive achievement list. His teammate Nico Rosberg has been a great help, but Lewis has without a doubt been the team's star man. Can they hold on and win another trophy for Hamilton?

Rosberg made a mistake during the first lap, but he took second place after a heroic comeback. Hamilton was full of praise, saying, "Nico did a great job to recover. The car was performing really well. It's history for us. I feel very proud to be a part of it. To get the first constructors' championship for Mercedes-Benz is a wonderful day."

It seems that Hamilton realizes he wouldn't of had it so easy if it wasn't for Nico.

The drivers often switch teams, and that's met with different responses. However, Lewis has proved that his move to Mercedes was the right one for him, his team, and all involved. Hamilton will look to finish the season in style, and then he's likely to take a long break, before aiming to repeat next season.
