It may be the international break, but Cristiano Ronaldo, England, Manchester United and Wayne Rooney are still the center of attention across the football and soccer universe. The Red Devils are across the media for a million different reasons this weekend, with some being good ones, and some not so good. Rooney has yet again been praised and disrespected by many, and Ronaldo has yet again been tipped with a expensive return to Old Trafford.

United are linked with transfers for Ronaldo, Ross Barkley and Seamus Coleman, meaning they're set to spend millions on new players once again. They are also in talks to renew the contract of Michael Carrick. On top of that, some reports have suggested they want Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar.

If the Red Devils are to spend a lot of money, it would appear that they will not be using revenue from their two-sponsor idea. United have 'Chevrolet' on the front of their soccer kit, and they were looking at bringing in extra money by adding another company name to the back of their shirt. However, it looks like that idea will be ruled out before it's even put in to action, meaning the club will need other means of financial gain.

Rooney scored for England, and the world were both praising and insulting him. Many were stating his "lazy" play could cost England, but then he turned around and scored the game-winning goal. Will Rooney remain a part of these United plans, especially if he is becoming a 'lazy' player?

Some things will never change, and it seems Man United will forever be at the forefront of the media.
