Taylor Swift might be OK with living her life under the microscope of fame, but she doesn't know if she wants to subject her children to that, should she have them one day. The "Shake It Off" singer opened up during an interview with InStyle for the November issue, where she talked about everything from marriage to whether or not she could see herself having kids in the future and friends Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez and Lorde.

While the starlet said she has imagined the scenario of having kids in her head, she just doesn't know if she is comfortable with the fact that they would be subjected to celebrity scrutiny from the time they're born.

"I don't know if I'll have kids," Swift explained to the magazine, according to E! News. "It's impossible not to picture certain scenarios and how you would try to convince them that they have a normal life when, inevitably, there will be strange men pointing giant cameras at them from the time they are babies."

Not only does Taylor not see babies in her near future, but she also doesn't think she'll be getting married anytime soon.

"I'm too young to get married," Swift said. "Not age-wise, but I know myself, so why try to meet someone right now when I know I'm too young to do something serious?"

She also explained that the time being single has really allowed her to focus on herself.

"I made the decision to spend time on my own and figure out who I am," Swift explained to People magazine. "When you take the other person out of the scenario and you're walking through life on your own, you end up figuring out what you actually like without anyone else's input."

And it doesnt seem like she's too worried about finding Mr. Right, as she revealed, "I'm not too worried about whether I met someone, I'm going to be happy either way."

She also mentions that her great group of friends, including Dunham, Gomez and Lorde help keep her happy.

"[They] are the most important thing to me right now," the star explained to the magazine.

Taylor is gearing up to release her new album, 1989, and as we previously reported, the star released a preview of a song from the album called "Out of the Wood" on Good Morning America this morning, Oct. 13.
