Ben Affleck's take on Batman will undoubtedly be different from Christian Bale's when Affleck steps into Bruce Wayne's shoes in Batman v. Superman; Dawn of Justice. But just how will the actor's version come across on screen?

Producer Charles Roven speaks about the portrayal in the following video, in which he says Affleck's Batman will be "much more of a social animal, in the Bruce Wayne incarnation. But he's also an extremely rough guy in the Batman incarnation. Very, very, very rough." Check out the full video below:

Harry Lennix, who plays General Stanwick in Man of Steel and the upcoming sequel has already commented on the difference between the two portrayals and thinks Affleck has an advantage over his British counterpart.

"I think he's going to be perfect," Lennix told Vintage Sound 93.1 FM when asked for his thoughts about Affleck in the role (via Batman-News). "I'm especially excited that we've got an American actor here. That's increasingly rare. The last guy, who did a great job, Christian Bale, is British. I think that when you've got somebody that doesn't have to act like an American and embodies that ethos, if you will, then that gives him a head start. And knowing how intelligent and how artful that he is as a filmmaker and actor, I think he's going to do a terrific job."

How do you think Affleck's portrayal will differ from Bale's? Do you think he could portray a more ruthless and violent version than Christopher Nolan's movies? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
