Last week, new R&B artist Tinashe made press rounds as she released her highly anticipated album Aquarius. The "2 On" singer stopped by the Hot 97 radio station and sat down with the cast of Ebro in the Morning.

During her chat, Tinashe discussed several different topics with the crew, like recently singing the national anthem at a Los Angeles Dodgers game, A-list celebrities who have tried to date her and, of course, her Aquarius album. The crew even made mention of a recent photo Tinashe posted, sticking out her ridiculously long tongue.

"I didn't really know that it was weird until people started saying it was weird," she said jokingly.

Peter Rosenberg, one of the hosts, then proceeded to measure her tongue with a tape measurer.

"That's over 2 inches," he said as they burst into laughter.

Tinashe was also interviewed by Power 105.1's morning show crew, The Breakfast Club. While Angela Yee focused on Tinashe's music and love life, Charlamagne harassed the singer with sexual innuendos, in true Charlamagne style.

During the interview, we learned a lot of personal things about the young star. Here are a few fun facts about Tinashe we didn't know:

1. Tinashe is half African. Her father is from Zimbabwe and her mother is of Irish, Norwegian and Danish descent.

2. Tinashe's name actually originates from Zimbabwe and means we are with God.

3. She once opened a show for Justin Bieber and was part of a girl group called The Stunners before going solo.

4. She previously released three mixtapes. She wrote and recorded all the tracks on her own to build her fanbase. This eventually caught the attention of her label, and she signed a deal within a year.

5. Five things Tinashe looks for in a guy are loyalty, honesty, respect, understanding her life and not making her feel bad about working so much.
