After saving the world from aliens in his feature film, The Avengers's Hawkeye is being treated by the famous wax museum known as Madame Tussauds. During New York Comic Con 2014, audiences were treated with a wax figure based on the Marvel Comics superhero marksman.
GameNGuide attended the unveiling at the East Coast convention. With just one look, you can tell the likeness of Jeremy Renner and the fabric of the costume is uncanny. The height is the same and the muscular texture appears in the finished work.
The wax studio artists paid careful attention to their references, such as videos and photos. From there, the measurements have to be calculated correctly.
In an interview with Dustycartridges, PR and Communications Manager Carly Lucas spoke about the wax-making process from start to finish.
"We worked with Marvel to make sure every detail was down to a T. Even the quivers in his arrows are sculpted individually to make sure they are all unique," she said.

After his NYCC appearance, audiences can follow Hawkeye, along with other Marvel heroes such as Nick Fury and Spider-Man, to the "Marvel 4D Experience" in Madame Tussauds Times Square. A great site for tourists and New York residents, you should definitely see all their wax exhibits there.
