The cruiserweight and heavyweight boxing divisions have, for a long while, been the pinnacle of the boxing world. However, it seems they're no longer content with being separated because of a few pounds of weight. Cruiserweights aren't much lighter than heavyweight, but the glory the latter receives seems to weigh a ton more for their self esteem, so could Tony Bellew, Nathan Cleverly and Marco Huck ditch their division, and make a change to their bodies, hoping to get clashes with the likes of Wladimir Klitschko and Anthony Joshua instead? Huck seems prepared to do so,

Huck has suggested that he wants to ditch his cruiserweight title so that he can face Wlad for a heavyweight title. He explained: "As a great champion, I want to be independent. Now I am free for Klitschko. I dream of big fights, even in the United States. I want to fight the best. Klitschko is at the top with me. I want to leave in peace and hope [Sauerland] will place no obstacles in the way.  It was a successful time together."

On top of that, Bellew and Cleverly will finish 2014 fighting one another, with a chance to then win a cruiserweight title. However, if Huck's change works out for the better, could they make the jump in weight classes too? Of course, Klitschko's friend Joshua is working his way up the heavyweight boxing ranks, and with Wlad looking to retire in the near future, one can wonder, by the time they make the step up, would A.J. be a better option for the cruiserweight-turned-heavyweight fighters?

Is this a smart move, and can it change the way we've known boxing forever?
