The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills producers shocked fans earlier this year when they announced that former star Adrienne Maloof was making her way back to the series. After leaving the show in season three due to all of the drama, the star took a few years off before deciding to come back for season five.

TooFab.com spoke to Maloof about her return to the famous zip code, including what made her decide to get back in on all the drama and why she picked now to make her valiant return.

"I think I'm better equipped now to deal with what to expect from Housewives," the star explains in the video clip.

As for what she really wanted out of the experience, she says, "I really wanted to come full circle and have some closure with the women," who she reveals are all great friends of hers.

Adrienne had a very public feud with costar Brandi Glanville during season three of the series, after rumors about Maloof's family started to surface. However, as we reported earlier this summer, it looks like the two have kissed and made up when photos leaked of the two hugging each other after getting lunch in Beverly Hills.

Despite her experience on the show, she does reveal that she was a little anxious about stepping back in front of the cameras.

"I was a little nervous on the first day of shooting, which is to be expected," she explained, before mentioning it was "fantastic." She also says, "Some of the old feelings came back, so it was a little bittersweet. But overall, it was good to see all the ladies."

Catch Adrienne and the rest of the gang when the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres on Bravo later this year.
