The Vampire Diaries just kicked off its sixth season earlier this month and it seems like fans can't get enough of the gang from Mystic Falls. Well, to satisfy their insatiable hunger we have a little bit of news about an upcoming event that will definitely rock the world of TVD.

E! News is reporting that during Whitmore College's homecoming, which will be seen in the October 30 episode, that things won't go according to plan and that there will be a lot of blood. The site is reporting that there is going to be a "devastating accident," which might leave some lives in the balance.

In the photo that E! News posted, Alaric played by Matt Davis along with his new lover Jo (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) are lying bloody and bruised in the homecoming corn maze after they rushed to save some college students who's lives are in peril.

In addition to the blood events, Elena's love life will be a main storyline this episode, as she invites her new friend and possible new love interest Liam to come to the party with her. Viewers are going to have some mixed feeling on this new romance as they are still getting used to the idea of Elena being over Damon. However, as viewers already saw this season, Elena begged Alaric to compel her to forget all about Damon, so she'll be able to move on with a free conscious, however we aren't so lucky

Also set to take center stage during this episode will be Tyler's battle with his werewolf curse. E! reveals that he will be put in a "dangerous position when his werewolf curse is put to the test."

All-new episode of The Vampire Diaries air on Thursdays at 8 pm on The CW.
