When you don't get the answer you want in court, fire your lawyer and get a new one. That's the advice that Teresa Giudice is following. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star just got sentenced to 15 months in prison following her and her husband Joe Giudice's fraud charges, but it seems that before she has to report to prison on January 5, the RHONJ star is looking to overturn her sentence.

According to new reports from RadarOnline, the reality star is looking for new lawyers to help her get her prison decision reversed.

Teresa has been meeting with numerous lawyers since being sentenced [to] 15 months," Radar reports. "She believes that more could have been done to persuade the judge to give her house arrest or probation."

The source is also saying that Giudice isn't wasting any time on her plan, as she has already been in contact with a few lawyers to get the decision overturned, but as we previously reported, under the terms of the plea deal Teresa can't contest the decision.

"Several lawyers that have met with Teresa have conveyed to her that under terms of the plea deal she signed, any appeal would automatically be rejected," the source said.

However, unluckily for Teresa, it doesn't look like the judge will budge on her decision.

"For a moment, I though about probation, and house arrest, instead of jail time," Judge Esther Salas explained to Teresa during the sentencing. "For a moment, I considered probation with confinement. But the behavior you engaged in greatly offended the court."

The behavior she is referring to is the reality star not submitting an accurate list of assets to the court. Teresa thinks that if she resubmits the list of assets that the court will go easy on her, according to sources for Radar.

"Teresa plans on filing new financial disclosure forms, fully detailing her financial assets," the insider explained.
