Believe it or not, the Holiday season is just around the corner and ABC is already cashing in by promoting its holiday special, Toy Story That Time Forgot. The network just dropped a sneak peak at the specials poster art.

The 22-minute television special will air on ABC this coming Dec. 2 and will reprise the roles of original voiceovers, including Tom Hanks as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear.

The storyline takes place after the Christmas season where the toys find themselves lost amongst some of the newest and coolest toys out on the market. This is obviously uncharted territory for the now-dated toys. A twist in the plot illustrates one of the action figures to be dangerously delusional and it is now up to Trixie (voiced by Kristen Schaal) to help the toys get back to Bonnie's room.

Familiar voices will be Wallace Shawn as Rex, Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potatoe Head, Joan Cusack as Jessie and Kevin McKidd as Reptillus Maxiums.

The original Toy Story was a box office hit produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Productions. The film went on to earn over $361 million worldwide and was the top-grossing film on its opening weekend in 1995.

Reviews of the animation were awarding for its technical innovation as well as the screenplay's comedic stance that entertained both children and adults alike. Some critics even claim the movie to be one of the best animations of all time.

With that said, Toy Story has built themselves into a franchise of the sorts with Toy Story, Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3. All have been produced on a total budget of $320 million and have grossed over $1.9 billion worldwide. All three films were also given rave reviews by critics.

Catch Toy Story That Time Forgot on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
