The red carpet turned green for BET's 2014 Hip Hop Awards last night. Teyana Taylor hosted the "ORS Curls Unleashed" Style Stage, behind the scenes coverage. The young recording artist, who is signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music label, interviewed several artists to find out what they were wearing and learn some of their style and beauty secrets.

Wendy Raquel Robinson strolled onto the green carpet wearing a black long-sleeved dress with a ruffled skirt, and royal blue patterned pumps. "I'm a ballerina today," she joked as Taylor complimented her look. "I've got to give a shout out, this brother is from Atlanta, and his name is Reco Chapple."

Detroit Che, cypher performer/ Sprite Hot 16 winner, went for a comfortable look, wearing Jeremy Scott winged Adidas and a Detroit Redwings oversized jersey. "I've got the Redwings, I've got the Jeremy Scott wings, I just wanted to be fly today," she told Taylor.

Mila J, who is known for being a tomboy, was dolled up in a sexy, black vintage Gaultier ensemble, with caged-lace detail, and Saint Laurent "Jane" sandals.

"I wanted to go a little more feminine tonight. I'm not really a dress girl, but I was like, let me change it up and wear a dress," Mila said.

"What is your secret for fabulous red carpet hair?" asked Taylor.

"I just went for a simple, clean look since I was wearing all black." Mila J's hair was sleek and shiny, as always. Very chic!

Lil Mama opted for a black and white one-shoulder dress over black leather pants. Her makeup was flawless, simple and natural, which made her green eyes pop.

"I wanted to be chic on the carpet, but not do too much" she said. "It's hip hop, so I wanted to stay closer to the urban field. You know how we can go back and forth, between our kicks and our shoes, so it's one of those moments when you want it to be the perfect blend."

Tameka "Tiny" Harris, who co-hosted the 106 & Park pre-show with Bow Wow, wore an AQ/AQ plunge neck dress and Christian Louboutin "Fifi" boots. She spoke to Taylor about her hair style.

"What is your secret for fabulous red carpet hair?" asked Taylor.

"For me, it's natural hair today. I decided, let's press it out and go natural."

Taylor also asked legendary rapper, MC Lyte, what the inspiration was behind her hair style.

"My hair is just inspired by not wanting to do it," she said jokingly.

Cali-bred MC, Snow Tha Product, "makes goth gorgeous with dramatic makeup and her signature straight black 'do dipped in emerald green."

"I've always been wearing my hair like this, so I just want to keep it original and keep doing what I've been doing. A lot of people know me for my hair. Other than that I'm just a Mexican girl," she said with laughter.

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star, Joseline Hernandez, wore a blue-patterned fringe dress from the Herve Leger spring 2014 collection. The LHHATL reality star was sure to mention her new single is out, entitled, "La Negra." She also mentioned, they should have let her perform in the cypher this year.

"I could rap. I could freestyle my ass off." Maybe the Puerto Rican princess will be a part of the cyphers next year!
