Kandi Burruss Reveals That Andy Cohen Was Clueless To Porsha Williams Demotion, Burruss Claims Rookie Claudia Jordan Is A 'Firecracker'

In an new red carpet interview, Kandi Burruss revealed that she learned about her co-star Porsha Williams’s demotion from a press release. She also commented on Bravo producer Andy Cohen in relation to what happened to Porsha, and called newcomer Claudia Jordan a "firecracker."

Burruss revealed that the ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta had been taping scenes together and posting photos with each other as they believed everyone, including Porsha, would return for another season.

Things took a turn as everyone was left clueless when Porsha was demoted to a "friend" on the show, as rookie Claudia Jordan and one other lady joined the cast.

“None of us knew,” Kandi told the reporter, at the TV One release party of her husband Todd Tucker's new reality show, Hollywood Divas.

Most fans believed Porsha's demotion came after she became violent with Kenya Moore during the RHOA reunion show.

Cohen cleared the air and claims it was due to her storyline.

“It was about the amount of story we got from Porsha last season. We went into it assuming she would be a full Housewife, holding a peach,” Andy explained. “We just haven’t gotten enough to merit that. She’s going to be in it a lot. We love her. I hope she’ll be on Bravo endlessly.”

"They both appear on the show and get paid for their time," Andy added. "There is no disrespect. Everyone has a role."

Kandi, like Cohen, told fans not to worry because Porsha will be seen a lot in the new season.

“Claudia is a firecracker. She definitely adds something to the new season,” Kandi shared about the newcomer.

Kandi revealed that her friend Porsha wasn't too happy with the new position, but gives her former peach props for gaining new roles, including being a part of Dish Nation.

“I think it’s a great move for her, and she has a lot of great things in store,” Kandi said about Porsha.
