Today Ed Sheeran will finish his fourth straight day of performing at London's O2 Arena, but it was the third night on October 14, 2014, that stole the four-day set. Yet again, a near 20,000 crowd were in seats, standing areas and in the more expensive suites. It seems Premier League stars Danny Welbeck and Jack Wilshere, both of Arsenal and England, were desperate to get time away from football, and the pair had a suite at the arena, showing that they appreciate the singing sensation that is Ed Sheeran. They got the chance to see Snow Patrol singer Gary Lightbody, too.

Ed delivered several of his classics from his hit albums + and X. Stopping only for the occasional breath between songs, Ed often shouted, trying to rile up the London audience, to which they easily obliged to. Ed wowed the EPL footballers, singing "Lego House," "A-Team," "Thinking Out Loud," and "Tenerife Sea." At times, fans were closing their eyes, saying it was as if somebody played Ed's albums through speakers. However, they didn't, Ed delivered every bit of music and every vocal, with no help. In a day and age where artists are slated for not singing live, Ed didn't let a single fan down, proving that 'real music' still exists.

As the concert came to a close, Ed demanded that the audience pull out their mobile phones and wave them with the flashlight on, to which nearly every single fan did, showing the power the star holds across his fanbase. One can wonder if the Arsenal duo waved their phones too. The pair were both in good spirits, smiling, dancing and posing for pictures with the many fans who couldn't believe their eyes. Perhaps the young players were in shock when Lightbody of Snow Patrol took to the stage to sing with Ed.

Ed has well and truly proven his worth to the music industry, but can the Arsenal duo take inspiration from Ed's performance, using it to fire them to Premier League and UEFA Champions League glory?
