American Horror Story might have just premiered its newest season Freak Show to the biggest audience that AHS has ever seen, but it doesn't look like everyone is happy about the latest installment in the horror franchise. During the season opener Twisty the clown made his debut, and it looks like the killer clown is not only scaring viewers, but also causing some to get super anger.

According to new reports from ET, it seems that the serial killing clown is getting some heat from the clown community. The Clowns of America International (C.O.A.I), which is a "gathering place for serous minded amateurs, semiprofessionals, and professional clowns," is really disturbed by the portrayal of the clown on the TV series.

The Hollywood Report is also commenting on the issues after the president of the C.O.A.I, Glenn Kohlberger, spoke out to them.

"Hollywood makes money sensationalizing the norm," Kohlberger explained to the site. "They can take any situation no matter how good or pure and turn it into a nightmare.

And a nightmare it was. In the first episode alone, Twisty killed one character and kidnapped two others.

Kohlberger not only feels outraged by the news season of American Horror Story but also states that the club doesn't agree with any form of coulrophobia, aka fear of clowns.

"We do not support in any way, shape or form any medium that sensationalizes or adds to coulrophobia or 'clown fear,'" Glenn explained. "I choose not to play into any of it. The more attention we give it just gives it more fuel."

He also adds that he doesn't understand "how something so sweet and well-meaning as clowning could have gone so wrong."

For those of you looking for your next Tasty fix, you can see the clown tonight on an all-new episode of American Horror Story.
