Warner Bros. dropped a huge bombshell this week when it announced its full DC Comics movie schedule after Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which includes Zack Snyder's Justice League movie in late 2017. But who will make up the team and what villain will they face?

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD

Badass Digest reports Superman's longtime foe Brainiac will be the villain in the movie, and the team of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg will oppose him. You might notice Green Lantern is missing from this list, but Badass Digest reports it's for a very good reason. According to the site, Green Lantern shows up at the end of the movie after the League defeats Brainiac to warn them of an even greater threat on its way to Earth. That threat is Darkseid, one of Superman's greatest enemies.

Badass Digest further reports that each of the League members, except Green Lantern, will appear in Dawn of Justice "to face the larger threat that has manipulated Lex Luthor and maybe even Bruce Wayne."

These threats apparently come to Earth because of Superman's Kryptonian beacon from Man of Steel. General Zod's World Engine from the movie also reportedly destroyed part of Atlantis, which causes Aquaman to poke his head above the water. Finally, Badass Digest reports Zod's corpse plays a significant role in Dawn of Justice. Could Lex Luthor try to use it for his own purposes?

As always, take these reports with a grain of salt until further notice.
