'RHOA' Claudia Jordan Bringing The Drama! Kenya Moore's Friend, NeNe Leakes Nemesis "Took Atlanta By Storm" [VIDEO]

Real Housewives of Atlanta has had major cast shakeups the past few years, but everyone was shocked when Porsha Stewart was demoted to a recurring part and newbie Claudia Jordan was bumped up to a full-time housewife.

Nobody was more surprised than Claudia herself who didn't even find out about the promotion from the Bravo producers.

"I thought I was just coming on the show as someone's homegirl, you know, just to bring a little new energy to the show," Claudia said on the Rick Smiley Morning Show. "When I got home, I looked on the internet and that's how I found out. I was pretty surprised."

Jordan is no stranger to TV since she's been working for years modeling and doing some reality TV. She was a model on The Price is Right and Deal or No Deal and then appeared on two seasons of the Celebrity Apprentice. She wants to take this new venture and run with it.

"[I'm] very humbled," she said. "I'm just very grateful for the opportunity."

Even though she is excited about being on the show, the new Bravo star says she's wary of all the drama that comes with being on RHOA.

"I was always nervous about reality TV...It always scared me," the former model said. "If anyone kinda starts with me, I will pop off and say something smart, but there will be no violence; there will be no embarrassing myself. I'm 41 years old. I'll probably pull a hamstring or something."

The model was first supposed to be on the show as Kenya Moore's "friend," but did so well producers wanted more from her. Kenya's best friend and also on RHOA, Brandon DeShazer, wasn't surprised by Claudia's upgrade.

"I've known Claudia for over a decade now," he told HipHollywood. "She is one of the realest chicks that I know, and she's got a mouth on her ... she flew into Atlanta and took it by storm."
