It looks like things at ABC's The View are about to get a shakeup again. Just weeks after the new season premiered with a new set of hosts, including Rosie Perez, Nicolle Wallace and the return of Rosie O' Donnell, it looks like things on the show are about to undergo another makeover. The premiere episode drew an impressive 3.9 million viewers, the best in eight years, but it looks like the series is facing some serious competition from other similar series: The Talk.

According to reports from Radar Online, the series is losing some of its viewership to the rival CBS talk show, and ABC is trying everything it can to stop that.

Apparently the network's worried the series won't be bringing in the ratings like it did during Barbara Walters's time on the panel, and it is thinking of giving the new show a little facelift after the makeover it just underwent.

"ABC execs are freaking out," the insider revealed. "They're talking about major changes."

One of these changes could include the possible firing of the newly hired Executive Producer Bill Wolff, who was brought on to revamp the series. There's also talk of incorporating guest hosts back onto the series, which proved successful in the past.

"There's a possibility of firing Wolff and even talk of bringing in guest co-hosts, which the show was famous for in past seasons," the insider said.

It seems the boosted ratings for The Talk have brought the show in close range to that of The View, and it is making producers sweat.

And things behind the scenes of The View haven't been so smooth, as we previously reported that Rosie has been getting into it with fellow castmates, including Wallace and Whoopi Goldberg.
