In an incredibly wonderful gesture, Ellen DeGeneres has joined the charity campaign to help raise funds for Cincinnati Bengals football player, Devon Still, and his cancer-stricken daughter Leah. The television host will donate $10,000 to the NFL defensive tackle as his sweet child continues her battle against cancer.

During The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the comedic host spoke via satellite with the football star about his sacrifice and struggles. His 4-year-old daughter is currently fighting stage 4 Neuroblastoma, which is a rare form of cancer. The father and daughter duo have been all over television sets and social media to spread word about their fundraising campaign for pediatric cancer research.

The doctors have told Still that his precious child has about a 50% chance of survival. Understandably, anyone would have hit their lowest point with this terrible news, especially at such a young and tender age, but the 25 year old paternal figure says his child keeps fighting to stay alive.

According to TMZ, the Bengals football team have donated proceeds from Still's #75 jersey sales to raising awareness for cancer research. So far, the team has raised about $1 million and now, the former Academy Awards host will add to that amount with her generous donation.

The Ellen sitcom star will contribute $10K to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where Leah is being treated. The TV host will also have celebrities signing the sports jersey she wore on the show, and then auction off the autographed shirt.

On his official Twitter, Still described Degeneres as "one of the coolest people I've had the opportunity to do an interview with."
