As the period/gangster drama, Boardwalk Empire has only two episodes left on HBO before season 5 officially ends. As Lucky Luciano (Vincent Piazza) strikes back against his enemies with vengeance, will Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) become a 'Friendless Child' if he survives this turf war.

In our recent recap, we saw two shocking deaths in the final season. Chalky White (Michael K. Williams) handed himself over to Dr. Valentin Narcisse (Jeffry Wright). Though Daughter Maitland (Margot Bingham) didn't say anything, Chalky knew that the little girl by her side was really his child. Knowing they were safe and far away from Narcisse, Chalky closed his eyes just before his body was riddled with bullets.

But that wasn't the only shocking twist that occurred. Nelson Van Alden (Michael Shannon) was about to redeem himself when he placed his hands on Al Capone (Stephen Graham), squeezing the life out of him. Before he could finish the job, Nelson was shot in the back of the head.

Check out the trailer to Friendless Child here:

In the footage, we see Eli Thompson (Shea Whigham) on the run again; a fugitive who Capone's men want dead. Avoiding his older brother at ever turn, who is the only person Eli can turn to? Eli has to face his oldest son, who he hasn't seen or spoken to since the fourth season cliff-hanger. Will father and son finally speak to each other?

And then there's Gillian Darmody (Gretchen Mol) who is locked away in a mental institution. Though Gillian says she is completely fine, the doctors want to operate on her body to figure out what's wrong with her mind? Will Gillian escape from the asylum before they lobotomize her?

Boardwalk Empire continues Sundays, 9pm on HBO. Readers, what are you excited to see what happens in the penultimate episode?
