The upcoming Hot Shots 2015 Calendar was shot "without proper authorization," sparking an investigation by the U.S. Army. The British bikini-clad swimsuit models were photographed at a Utah National Guard base, posing with automatic rifles and other equipment.

According to Fox13, the shapely models were caught on video riding around in tanks and firing guns to promote their sexy calendar. While the scantily-clad models doused themselves in water, the footage also captures members of the Utah National Guard. The end credits give a heart special thanks to the "Soldiers of the 19th Special Forces Group."

Utah National Guard Lt. Col. Steven Fairbourn reveals an internal investigation is underway because the guard's "equipment, facilities and personnel" was used in the calendar shoot, without any approval for the project by the Guard.

For a number of reasons, House Minority Leader Jennifer Seelig, believes the video not only sends a bad message to girls, but also raises questions about security measures

Seelig adds, "If this video was shot at a government restricted facility using government specialized military equipment, either leadership knew about this - or their security protocols aren't robust enough to keep a bunch of calendar girls and their crew and assorted groupies out."

According to Guns, the 2015 edition is now available for pre-order. The proceeds from the calendar, which is priced at $15, will be donated to Help for Heroes, a charity to support physically and emotionally wounded combat vets. The previous 2014 calendar raised just over $15 million.

The makers of the Hot Shots 2015 calendar have been reached out to by Fox13 but no comment has been made.

The photo-shoot of the Hot Shots 2015 calender taken at the Utah National Guard Base was done without permission. Readers, what do you think of the behind-the-scenes video at the military compound?
