'The Vampire Diaries' Candice Accola And The Fray Guitarist Married: Paul Wesley, Michael Trevino And Kat Graham Present For Celebrity Wedding

Candice Accola is a married woman. The Vampire Diaries star tied the knot over the weekend in a New Orleans ceremony to her beau and The Fray guitarist Joe King. People has confirmed the news, saying that some of Accola's costars and bestie attended the nuptials, including Kayla Ewell, Michael Trevino, Kat Graham, Claire Holt and Paul Wesley. Ian Somerhalder was unable to make it to the celebrity wedding, but he reached out to Candice and Joe on his Instagram page to send his love.

"Candice and Joe- my brother, my sister. What a magical day this is for both of you," Somerhalder wrote. "From the eye of the storm I am still with you in spirit! I am missing my homes state of Louisiana and my city, the great city of New Orleans. Sending you so much love from my shoot in ATL- I'm working hard & I wish I could be there physically, but we have the rest of our lives to celebrate. I love you guys! So. Much."

The couple first met at a Super Bowl event where Nina Dobrev played a huge part in getting them together. Accola says she was "too chicken to give" Joe her number, so Nina did it for her to get their relationship moving along.

The 34-year-old drummer proposed to the TVD star in May 2013 while they were vacationing in Florence, Italy. Candice posted a picture of her engagement ring to her Instagram account and wrote, "Cheers from the future Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Aaron King!"

According to Us Weekly, Nina also chimed in after the engagement, writing, "Dying right now! So excited/thrilled/happy/hyperventilating over you engagement! Match made in heave! What colors are we thinking for the bridesmaid's dresses! Because yellow isn't a good color on me."

Candice and Joe showed off their love for one another in The Fray's video for "Love Don't Die," where they shared a few steamy kisses. This is the first marriage for Candice and second for Joe, who has two kids from a previous marriage.
