Real Housewives of New Jersey stars and twins Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano have had quite an eventful and drama-filled season on the Bravo show. The twins opened up to MStars News in an exclusive interview about all things RHONJ, including those awful rumors regarding their mother spread by Victoria Gotti and, of course, their relationship with the head housewife, Teresa Giudice.

The biggest headline this season involved Teresa and Joe Giudice's prison sentence for bankruptcy and mortgage fraud. Teresa received 15 months in prison while Joe got 41 months plus more for another crime. The twins have had their touchy relationship with Teresa, especially after they were not happy with her for telling co-star Dina Manzo about the rumor.

"A few episodes with Teresa were touchy," Teresa A. said. "That's reality TV, you're going to have your drama and you're going to have your intense moments when you're not going to be happy with someone."

In last week's episode, Teresa G. told Dina that she has nothing to be sorry about when it comes to the twins. She has a lot to deal with, so the rumor's the last thing on her mind these days.

"To me she didn't take responsibility where I felt as though she could have, but I know she's going through a lot," Teresa A. told MStars exclusively. "With Teresa, my heart is ... we're there for her right now. Yeah, we had some touchy situations, it got a little crazy."

Even though Teresa G. and the twins had their touch-and-go moments, Teresa A. told MStars that her husband, Rino Aprea, and Teresa G.'s husband are still close.

"[Joe and Rino] still talk, he calls him all the time, he tries to make him laugh through everything that he's going through," she said. "Rino has fun with him and tries to make him smile. We're at a good place now. This is reality TV — if it was The Brady Bunch, people wouldn't watch!"

Speaking of those rumors, according to the twins they're still hurt by what transpired. In one of the more shocking episodes, reality star Victoria Gotti sat down with Amber Marchese and Teresa G. to tell them Teresa A.'s husband Rino told her the reason they got divorced the first time was because something transpired between him and their mother, Santa.

This revelation caused shockwaves throughout the season, but no more so than for the twins and their parents, who deny the rumor's true.

"It wasn't laughable because there are people across America that think there's truth to it. That was upsetting to me," Teresa A. said. "You can't help but get upset. It's your mother! I hold my mom in such high regard."

"It upset my mother that even the grandchildren had to hear such a disgusting lie," she continued.

Teresa A. and Nicole hold Victoria the most responsible because, according to them, she wanted the publicity and knew what she was doing when she came on the show.

"It was a sucker punch. It was a disgusting, vile lie by Victoria Gotti, so that was a low blow," Teresa A. told MStars. "When it comes to moms and children, there has to be a line of respect."

"She's a big bully. I find it revolting," Teresa A. continued. "People say you never confronted Victoria. Well, I won't dummy down and confront her, but I will now make a statement. I do find her vile. It was one big lie — she can continue this, but I am not."
