Episode three of FOX's new series Mulaney aired earlier tonight. Its focus? You guessed it... HALLOWEEN! Titled after the holiday, "Halloween" solidifies one thing: the show is definitely getting better!

Focusing on comedian John Mulaney, who recently began working for Lou Cannon (Martin Short), this episode presents a conundrum many comedians may unfortunately find themselves experiencing: stealing jokes.

In the episode, Mulaney uses the jokes of a dead wannabe comedian, Anthony Lapidus, for Cannon's show. And when he's surprised to see them do well, he attempts to keep feeding his boss the jokes... especially since his contract is up for renewal.

Meanwhile, Jane (Nasim Pedrad) attempts to get the recently decreased's apartment at just $40 a month by posing as his common law wife. Does it work? Let's take a look at the Top 7 Moments from "Halloween" below and see!

1. Mulaney's Slam On God & Ghosts
It wasn't long, but we still liked it. In the beginning of the episode, Motif enters complaining about a supposed ghost in his room. To which Mulaney wittily replies, "I don't believe in ghosts. I mean I believe in an afterlife and I believe in a God and I believe that God doesn't want me to have sex, but ghosts?"

2. Rent v. Death In NYC
While people in New York City undoubtedly have hearts and grievances about the dead... it ends right when they hear the price of the recently deceased's apartment. After hearing that a nearby neighbor, Anthony Lapidus, has passed away, the group feels somewhat bad. But after hearing his apartment is a mere $40 a month, and rent controlled, Jane's sad feelings take a hike. She then devises a plan to get the apartment and finally move out of John's place and rid herself of her two best friends.

3. The Motif Show
After thinking he has Lapidus' ghost in his room – mainly because Mulaney has not told Cannon that he didn't write the jokes – Motif sets up a camera to catch the spector. Unfortunately, there appears to be more on the video than the gang bargained for!

4. Jane's Singing Scene
Hands down the funniest scene churned out by Mulaney this season. And it's not surprising to hear it's from former Saturday Night Live player Nasim Pedrad. After heading into Lapidus' apartment, Pedrad delights us all with a hysterical singing scene in which she makes herself at home in her (hopeful) new digs.

5. Andre's Little Brother Costume
Is there anything more ridiculous than this outfit? Oh yeah... visiting sex offender houses dressed like that. Well, good news is he did that too!

6. Jane's Photoshop Job
In order to make the landlord believe she was Lapidus' common law wife, Jane had to Photoshop herself into the various photos of the dead 89-year-old at-home comic. And while it didn't work out for her, the pictures are undeniably hilarious.

7. Grave Digging
After hearing that Lapidus was buried with his final joke book, Mulaney heads to the graveyard with a shovel in order to keep his job. Yep, really!
