It seems like the Ryan Murphy reign isn't going to let up anytime soon. The American Horror Story and Glee creator is keeping it in the Fox family as the network has given his new comedy series, Scream Queens, a 15-episode order.

According to E! News, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan along with Murphy will co-create the series that is set to take pace on a college campus, which has just been turned upside down by a series of murders.

Murphy released a statement earlier today where he explains his excitement over the news and how he knew he wanted to work with Brad and Ian again.

"I knew I wanted to work with Brad and Ian again on something comedic, and we are having a blast writing Scream Queens," the AHS creator explained. "We hope to create a whole new genre- comedy-horror- and the idea is for every season to revolve around two female leads. We've already begun a nationwide search for those women, as well as 10 other supporting roles, and were very grateful to Dana Walden and Gary Newman (CEOs of Fox Television Group) for their enthusiastic support."

And it seems that Fox has put a lot of faith in Murphy, as they asked him to create a new project for them.

"One of our top priorities at the network has been to get Ryan Murphy to create a new series for Fox," Walden and Newman said in a statement. "We loved every element of the pitch for this show- the genre-bending concept, which blends true horror with big comedic moments; the diverse and unforgettable characters and reuniting the phenomenal creative team that delivered Glee."

They are putting even more faith in the project as it has been ordered straight to series for the 2015 Fall TV schedule.

"Scream Queens will go straight to series," the pair explained. "It's a huge commitment and an expression of our faith in Ryan. We are ecstatic to have him, along with Brad, Ian and Dante (Di Loreto, exec producer) as our partner on this exciting ride."
