Simpsons World App Launches This Week: Watch Every Episode On Your Tablet Or Mobile Device

Have you ever wanted to watch clips or even full episodes of The Simpsons while on the go, via your mobile device or tablet? Well starting Oct. 21, 2014, FX is launching Simpsons World, an easy-to-use app that lets user do exactly that! Clips from every Simpsons episode ever are available to all user, while full episodes require authentication by users.

"We recognize that The Simpsons was found linearly on television for the last 25-plus years in syndication, where any episode could be served up in a given night," FX Networks COO Chuck Saftler said in a new interview with IGN. "If you just flipped on the TV, anywhere across the country, you'd find an episode, and that was a great, easy experience. But we wanted to look at the new paradigms that we're seeing in this SVOD space, this non-linear space, where people can create playlists and create the [experience] they want."

So all 552 episodes (so far) are available on the app, with other fun, interactive features as well. One feature includes curated playlists!

"We'll make it easy for you," Saftler said. "We'll curate for you; you can curate for you; you can curate for us. It can be lean-forward; it can be lean-back."

Also, the next update for the app, which is expected in January, will feature a user ability to create custom clips. Yes, you can create your own Simpsons clips to share!
