Amir Khan has been desperately trying to get Floyd Mayweather Jr in to the ring for well over a year now, and with many believing he can trouble, and possibly beat, 'The Money Team' leader, could Floyd be running scared? Now, with yet more delays, Amir has booked in an end of 2014 fight against Devon Alexander, and he will look to once again prove to the world, and Money Mayweather, that he deserves a shot to take his belts and break his unbeaten record.

On December 13 Amir will take on Devon in Las Vegas, and Floyd will watch on, knowing that one more Amir win will all but seal a 2015 bout between the duo. Amir beat Luis Collazo this year, but has since seen Floyd beat Marcos Maidana twice, all while refusing to commit to a Khan bout. Floyd has discussed the idea, however.

He explained: "Amir Khan is a solid, good competitor, he's a good fighter. We don't know who I'm fighting right now, we don't really know. I'm not rushing. If that fight happened to come my way then we'll make it happen. But Amir Khan's a good fighter, of course. I mean I think when Amir Khan was an amateur, I was champion. And then when Amir Khan turned pro and got knocked out, I was champion. Then when Amir Khan got knocked out again I was champion. And then when he lost his belt again I'm still champion and I'm still right here."

It's clear Floyd's judging Amir on his past, but will he finally give him his dream bout in 2015?
