It's show time again for the shooting stars in the sky. The last two days, Perseid Meteor Showers covered the sky with 60 - 100 meteors per hour. Tonight, you can expect to see around 40 meteors per hour.
Meteors can be seen starting 10:00 p.m. local time, however the best viewing time is at the darkest hours of midnight to dawn.
The Perseid Meteor showers come around only once a year and the name is derived from the appearance of the meteors coming out of the Perseus constellation.
Over the weekend, many people around the world have been able to enjoy the star show by mother nature. Many planned ahead and set up tents and camped out in the wilderness under the beautiful night sky. Some city folks remained home and were still able to catch a few shooting stars in the sky. Live streaming was available from NASA for those wanted to stay home to watch the shooting star show.
