According to Hello! fashion magazine, Kim Kardashian had sparked speculation that she had cut her long, wavy hair into a much shorter style following a photo posted via Instagram.

Last week, celebrity hairdresser Chris McMillan shared an image of Kim posing for the camera sporting what appeared to be much shorter, layered locks on his Instagram account. He captioned the photo, "#piecy."

Kim's hair looked a lot shorter than what we're used to seeing, but then again, the photo was very dark and we couldn't see a full head of hair. Either way, it's clear that when it comes to her hair, Kim trusts Chris, having chosen him to style her hair for her wedding to rapper Kanye West in Florence, Italy, earlier this year, as well as for the glamorous parties in the lead-up to the highly anticipated nuptials.

For fans who were in desperate need of confirmation in regards to the actual length of Kim's hair, the star posted a photo via Instagram Monday, Oct. 20. She captioned the photo, "#HairfinityResults — The pic on the left was me 7 months ago and the pic on the right is me now @hairfinity."

Now we can breathe a sigh of relief, as Kim's hair seems to be long and healthy.

Kim isn't the first celebrity who has been given a layered hairstyle by Chris. The hairdresser famously created "The Rachel" for Jennifer Aniston when she starred on hit sitcom Friends, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month.

Chris also recently cut The Hills star Kristin Cavallari's long blonde locks into a shoulder-length, layered bob. Kristin teased fans with a photo of her chopped-off ponytail on Instagram, while she was at the hairstylist's salon in Beverley Hills.

"This is happening right now," she captioned the photo. "Just chopped off my hair! @anderssonjj @mrchrismcmillan."
