After being recently seen with different guys on numerous occasions,Taylor Swift remained quiet for some time.

However, fans should be enjoying this recent news from Taylor herself: the "Mean" singer is about to release a new album.and to make fans even more excited than they already are with this news, she just released a single from the same album.Talk about riot.

A live chat with Taylor Swift was hosted by Youtube and Google+ where she announced that she is going to release her new album entitled "Red" along with a surprise online performance of the first single from the album entitled "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

"Hey, it's Taylor. So I really wanna talk to you about something. I would love it if you would join me Aug. 13 for a live webchat. You can ask questions. I wanna share some news with you, some really cool news, I'm not going to go into it too much but it's cool." said Taylor Swift in a YouTube video that served as a teaser for the webchat.

The six-time Grammy winner chose the title "Red" because it was simple, but at the same time reflected her emotions during the crazy "semi-toxic" relationships she has been in during the last two years.

"'I am so excited for you to hear the new direction of things,' Swift said, adding that 'really disfunctional' and 'not good' relationships can provide 'a lot of inspiration.'" said the 22-year old as reported by ABC News.

The new album contains 16 tracks, even though she wrote about 30 to 35 songs for the album. ABC News reports that the 16-track album also contains a duet with Ed Sheeran, another recording artist.

Taylor Swift is one of the most successful country artists who went pop. Some of her hit songs include "Love Story" and "You Belong With Me," which her 17 million follwers on Twitter can probably relate to.

Just like her career, Taylor's album will skyrocket both in online and CD sales within its first week of release.

The album will be released on October 22.
