There are countless rumors surrounding Kristen Stewart's sex life that we're sure you've heard, but dating speculation aside, the Equals actress has made an announcement that might be more shocking than any Robert Pattinson-related news we've heard in a while. According to a new interview, the 24-year-old actress (that really has Hollywood and any role she wants at her feet) will take a break from acting to focus on making ... stuff.
This new life decision was revealed in an in-depth interview with USA Today, in which Kristen revealed she's ready to take "so much time off" to focus on a different form of expression and creativity besides acting.
"I'm taking some time off because I've been working for two years. I'm an actor and that's my art form, and because I started that so young, I've always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create. I'm going to take so much time off," she told the publication this week (via Gawker). "I'm going to buy a live-work space in downtown LA and I'm going to make some (stuff) with my hands. Literally, I made that decision a few weeks ago. I'm making a short film. I'm making a bunch of (stuff). I don't know how I'll put it out. But I'm not going to hold it so preciously close to me. I write all the time."
Other than this huge career move (or career halt, really), Kristen did mention that she's very happy these days - which we're more than happy to hear!
"I'm really happy right now, overly happy. I'm definitely not looking furtively - I like to look around at (stuff). I feel great. I'm not overcoming fear right now," she revealed.
