Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice's marriage to her husband Joe is still hanging by a thread after their prison sentences for mortgage and bankruptcy fraud. She has been nagging him before prison over his taking care of their four daughters.

"Teresa and Joe's emotional connection is fading," a source close to the family told Us Weekly. "Resentment is creeping in. There is an icy distance."

The reality star's main worry is making sure Joe takes care of their four girls, as evidenced by her continuous mention of that topic in their post-prison sentence interview with Watch What Happens Live's Andy Cohen.

But Teresa doesn't think her husband will be able to handle the day-to-day responsibilities of taken care of Gia, 13, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5.

"[Teresa] expects him to step up and learn the girls' schedules," the source said. "But he hasn't shown interest."

"Joe says Teresa is nagging," the source continued, referring to when Teresa criticizes him for not trying hard enough to help take care of their daughters.

Even though their marriage is in shambles, the RHONJ star will stay married to keep her girls from anymore hurt.

"Splitting up would cause the kids turmoil," another source told the mag. "She wouldn't bring them more harm."

As MStars News reported, Teresa and Joe have been having problems for a while. They were recently fighting over how to celebrate the holidays with the girls. On top of that, the reality couple hasn't been sleeping in the same bed.

"It's really sad. Most nights Joe stays downstairs long after Teresa and the girls have gone to bed. He usually drinks a lot of wine and ends up passing out on the couch," a source told Radar Online. "When it first started happening, Teresa told him to at least make an effort to come upstairs before the girls got up in the morning. She didn't want the girls to see their dad on the couch first thing."
