Who says nuns can't have fun? MStars News has learned that the Sicilian nun, 26, who won the Italian edition of The Voice earlier this year is back with her highly anticipated album Sister Cristina and will cover Madonna's "Like a Virgin."

The famous singing nuns first single will be a cover of Madonna's controversial 1984 song, "Like a Virgin," in which she made it her own by changing it to a "secular prayer," according to Entertainment Tonight.

Sister Cristina shared with the Italian Catholic newspaper Avvenire, "I chose it. Without any will to provoke or shock anyone. Reading the lyrics, without prejudice, one discovers a song about the ability love has to renew people. To save them from their past. And this is how I wanted to interpret it. That's why we transformed it from the pop-dance original to a romantic ballad like Amos Lee. It's closer to a lay prayer than a pop song, actually."

Sister Cristina will be available Nov. 11. The nun claims she won't receive any of the money she gains from her new hit song. She says she'll give her earnings to church projects, according to CNN:

"We will use them to support charitable activities for the congregation. In our house in Brazil [a hostel for the underprivileged] and also for a project in my Sicily, where there is plenty of poverty. I would also like to help other causes, but whatever choice I make it will be together with the rest of my congregation."

Sister Cristina's version of her video was shot in Venice just like Madonna's, and was directed by Italian Marco Salom.

Sister Cristina released her first video of the hit song Oct. 20. Check it out below:
