Time to scrub in for another episode of Grey's Anatomy, and maybe get the tissues ready because this week's episode was a tearjerker, to say the least. This episode, "Bend and Break," centers around Callie and Arizona's relationship, as they struggle with their responsibilities at work, and try to figure out if they want to have another baby together.

We catch up with the two while they are in therapy session to try to save their relationship. Arizona, feeling kind of suffocated in the relationship suggest that the couple take a trial break for 30 days, something Callie is really not very receptive of. The rules for the break include no talking or communicating with one another, and no intimacy in or outside of the relationship. What makes this even harder is that the two are still living in the same house, just not sharing the same bedroom.

Callie thinks that the break idea is a joke, saying she feels like she is on a reality show when Arizona brings up the suggestion. She calls it "The Real Lesbain MD Housewives of Seattle," now that's a show that we'd be interested in watching.

Torres can't seem to follow the rules of the break. She falls apart after the first night, breaking down and talking to Arizona the following morning.

Arizona has her work cut out for her both in the relationship as well as in her new fellowship. While proceeding over a case, she gets schooled by her rival fellow. That night to practice for her patient's procedure, Arizona goes home and makes Jell-O molds with April. Callie comes home to find the two laughing together in the kitchen and gets extremely upset that the two are having fun. Because of this she ends up drinking a whole bottle of wine to herself.

Callie, needing an outlet for all her angry at work and at home, finds a friend in Meredith as they bond over their similar relationships. They find their way to Joe's bar where they sling back shot after shot while laughing and having a good time. They even bust out an original song called, "The Vagina Song."

When Callie gets home from the bar she drunkenly stumbles into Arizona's bedroom where the two share a kiss, but stop before anything goes too far.

Since they broke the rules of intimacy, the next day at their therapy session, the therapist makes them start the 30-day separation over again.

Meredith and Callie talk about their respective relationship during a surgery in the OR, as they compare their situations of not having sex to that of not having a cheeseburger. Just think of how good the cheeseburger will be after 30 days Meredith says to Callie.

To get their minds off of the sex that they both aren't having, Callie and Mer go to the bar to drink some tequila shots and to eat, yup, you guessed it cheeseburgers.

Having spent the night having fun with Meredith, Arizona starts to get worried about Callie, and has to break the rules when her partner doesn't come home. Callie realizes that Arizona is jealous and she gets excited knowing that this mean that Arizona still cares about her.

Callie and Arizona break the rules one last time, as they have sex before the 30 days are over. However, while it might have felt good for Arizona, Callie distracted her for prepping for a major surgery in her fellowship and she ends up faltering in the OR. Her rival fellow picks up the slack in the operating room, and shows Arizona up.

Arizona gets a lecture from her superior saying, that she is behind in the fellowship, and if she hesitates again in the operating room than she is out.

Despite the 30-day break being over, it looks like Callie has found a new friend in Meredith who says that she is always up for cheeseburgers and tequila shots.

In the final therapy session, Arizona opens up to Callie letting her know that the last 30 days have been really hard but that she still loves her and wants to be with her.

However, it looks like it's Callie who is now the one questioning the relationship.

She can't help but break down in the therapy session, saying that the thing that has been making her so sad over the last few years is the fact that she has been feeling suffocating by the relationship and the fact that they are always trying to fix each other.

She says that during the last 30 days that it was the first time in so long that she actually felt free. While she still loves Arizona, she says that the only thing she wants for her is to feel free too.

We literally can't with all these emotions.

Tune in for a new episode of Grey's Anatomy when it airs on Thursday at 8 pm on ABC.
