Kylie Minogue Affair: Jean-Claude Van Damme Confesses to "Beautiful Lovemaking"

Pop star Kylie Minogue has been ousted by former co-star Jean-Claude Van Damme, who recently admitted to having an affair with the young starlet 18 years ago.

Belgian martial arts master Damme insinuated in an interview with Guardian that he and stunning silver screen co-star Minogue hooked up while on the set of the film "Street Fighter" (an onscreen adaptation of the hit 1987 videogame).

When asked about the rumors by Guardian reporter Alex Godfrey, Damme responded with:

"Oh ... who said that to you? I tell you what, you should ask her. She'll have a better memory. I'm 51 years old, do you know how much I was punched in the face on 'The Expendables'? No, no. No. And let's just say it happened, so what? Who wants to know?"

Although being purposefully vague at first, Damme later went on to confirm his affair with Minogue, stating:

"Sometimes you let go of stuff ... I don't know, maybe... Yes. OK. Yes, yes, yes. It happened. I was in Thailand, we had an affair. Sweet kiss, beautiful lovemaking. It would be abnormal not to have had an affair, she's so beautiful and she was there in front of me every day with a beautiful smile, simpatico, so charming, she wasn't acting like a big star. I knew Thailand very well, so I showed her my Thailand. She's a great lady."

Such allegations are even juicer considering Damme was involved with numerous other women at the time of the supposed romantic fling. "Street Fighter" was filmed in 1994; he divorced his third wife Gladys Portugues in 1992 after he began an affair with actress Darcy LaPier, whom he ended up marrying in February 1994. Seems like Damme was quite the ladies' man, although he reconciled with ex-wife Portugues in 1999 and the couple now reside in Thailand.

Minogue has yet to release a statement on the matter. The 44-year-old "Locomotion" singer is currently said to be dating Spanish male model Andres Velencoso.
