With the Batman prequel, Gotham, currently underway on Fox, a major villain from the DC Comics Universe is making his way to the television screen. From the Batman rogue gallery, Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) is about to meet for the first time the terrifying serial killer, Victor Zsasz (Anthony Carrigan).

In our previous recap, Gordon (McKenzie) discovered the origins of the drug, Venom, which the super villain Bane will use to break Batman's back. In the subplot, Alfred (Sean Pertwee) has already joined Bruce (David Mazouz)'s crusade to find his parents' killer. There is a conspiracy going on inside Wayne Enterprises that involves the board members.

ComicBook got the scoop on the first look of Victor Zsasz (Carrigan) In Gotham. Zsasz will make his debut in the seventh episode entitled, Penguin's Umbrella, which is scheduled to air on November 3, just in time for Thanksgiving. Different from his character design, Zsasz has shaved his head and dresses himself in a suit.

In the comics, Zsasz is usually depicted naked to show his self-inflicted scars on his body. Every time he kills someone, Zsasz cuts himself as if he's building the body count for himself. Alfred almost became one of Zsasz's victims when they confronted each other in the issue, Detective Comics #815.

As we previously mentioned, actress Morena Baccarin will play Dr. Leslie Thompkins, "a gifted and dedicated physician who was a friend of Thomas and Martha Wayne." In the Batman mythology, it's been hinted that Leslie and Bruce's butler, Alfred Pennyworth, had a previous relationship. This would be an interesting story arc if the show intends to follow this route.

Will Alfred have a love interest and have his life threatened on Gotham? We will have to wait and see.

Gotham continues on Fox, Mondays at 8pm. Readers, are you excited to see Victor Zsasz on the show?
