Taylor Swift's new album 1989 is one of the most anticipated records in recent memory, so it's not surprising that it has been leaked online.

According to NY Magazine's Vulture, the album leak may have come from Target stores in France or Canada that received the album early in their warehouses. The reason Target is most likely the source is because the bonus tracks that were leaked were the part of the 19 songs made exclusively for Target stores.

The album was leaked through Zippyshare.com with the title "albumsgonnaleakleakleakleakleak.rar." It originated from a French speaking region since certain track's titles were labeled "pistes," or "tracks" in French.

"If you downloaded the original leak, you'll see that song titles are missing and in their place there are a slew of numbered 'pistes,'" according to NY Mag.

On top of that, 1989 shows up as "Album inconnu" (aka "unknown album") in iTunes.

Fans of the "Shake It Off" singer have been up in arms over the leak vowing not to listen to the album until it officially drops on Monday.

Even former Billboard Editor Bill Werde tweeted, "The Taylor Swift album leak isn't trending on Twitter. And I think it's bc her fans are so loyal they won't tweet it. That's kinda awesome."

Here are some outrageous tweets about the album leak from Taylor Swift fans:
