Rapper Drake just turned 28-years-old on Friday, October 24. Of course the birthday festivities continued all weekend, with a rather bizarre nightclub encounter taking place late Saturday evening (October 25) in Washington, DC...

Reports confirm that Drizzy and members of his OVO/YMCMB team were spotted partying at Stadium Club, but when they went to leave, things just got weird!

Apparently, the Nothing Was The Same crooner had already left the nightclub, but decided to come back for some more action. In the process, Rihanna's ex throws down a wad of cash (rumoredly thousands of dollars worth) and gets into a heated altercation with a bouncer. Drake pushes the security guard, and storms back into the club. Of course, everything was captured on video! Via TMZ...

Not sure why Drizzy was in such a volatile rush. A member of his posse did manage to grab the cash as the crowd erupted into total chaos. According to the infamous gossip webloid, one of the emcee's friends was allegedly punched in the venue while celebrating, which may have angered the former "Degrassi" star.

FYI - Stadium is also part gentleman's club, which would explain the bundles of cash.

Meanwhile, Drake just released three new songs online, although he insists the fresh beats will NOT be featured on his new upcoming album, Views From The 6. Check it out...
