As Dancing With the Stars begins week seven of season 19, Derek Hough is revealing what's in store when it comes to the group dance. This week, Derek will take on the paso doble with his partner Bethany Mota, but there will also be an epic group dance.

Last week, Derek and Bethany had to struggle with their schedules to create enough time to practice their routine, but even after a trip to Australia, the couple did great. "I thought our tango went great! I'm really proud of Bethany. The package played up the stress and lack of time, but we weren't dealing with it negatively. The routine was very last-minute, but I feel like when you have less time, you get more done," Derek wrote on his TV Guide blog on Friday.

"Now, she has this new confidence and new awareness in her body. I think that showed in the tango. I was really impressed with her. She slipped on the floor during the routine, but she covered it so quickly and recovered well," he added.

This week, Bethany and Derek will have to find time to practice their couples' routine and balance that with their group number. Derek and Bethany are teaming up with Janel Parrish, Val Chmerkovskiy, Michael Waltrip, Emma Slater, Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev. Bethany and Derek are the team captains for their team, with Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson as the other team's captains.

"It's gonna be a fun week. We're Team Itsy Bitsy, which Val came up with. He was like, "Yo, yo. What about Itsy Bitsy?" And I was like, 'Yeah, OK. Let's do it.' We're not going to be spiders, but it's gonna have a slinky vibe," the DWTS pro revealed.

Derek also joked about last week's run in with guest host Leah Remini, who hit him in the face with her microphone when she was interviewing him. "Hopefully, I'll be all recovered Monday from my facial injury! Kidding! I was dying when Leah kept smacking me with the microphone. It was hilarious!" he wrote in his weekly blog.
