Kate Gosselin Yard Sale- Ex Husband Jon Gosselin Shows Up To Get His Old Stuff Back: Filmed For 'Kate Plus 8'

It looks like hard times have fallen on both Kate Gosselin & her former husband, Jon Gosselin, as the former married couple and stars of the TLC reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8 were both present at a yard sale Kate organized over the weekend.

However, despite reports that the star is selling her old knick-knacks to make some extra money, the 39-year-old mother of eight says that all the proceeds from the sale were going to benefit the Animal Rescue League.

According to E! News, the star put things like old appliances, books, booster seats, car seats, clothing, furniture, and toys out for sale. However, while most yard sales have the items prices listed on them, Gosselin took a more interesting approach to selling her old goods. She told a local radio station that instead of labeling items, that she would rather bargain with her customers. "No price tags! Let's wheel and deal!" she explained.

After the yard sale, which was held at the St. John's United Church of Christ in Wernersville, Pa., Kate took to her Twitter to thank everyone for coming out.

"We had a memory filled X at r yard sale! Met hundreds of THE nicest ppl & saw many old friends 2! PLUS raised tons of $ for ARL Berks County," the reality star wrote. "Thank you ALL 4 coming out to meet us! My kids had fun w ur kids on playground! And thx 2 for your generous donations to ARL Berks County!"

She also took to the social media site to dispel the rumors that she was pocketing the money for herself.

"Fyi: Yardsales r NOT & makers. Purging is gr8 organization skill, especially after construction/losing major storage space #StopRumors," Kate wrote. "MY LIFE THEME SONG #ShakingItOff #ThxTaylor RT @MegEHarris @KatePlusmy8 As @Taylorswift13 says, haters gonna hate hate hate- just #shakeitoff."

Fans of Kate Gosselin will get to see the yard sale on TV since E! is reporting that the TLC cameras were rolling during the sale.
