Amy Poehler is making the rounds to promote her new book Yes Please, and the Parks & Recreation star had some pretty interesting things to say to Howard Stern when she made an appearance on his radio show earlier today. Poehler opened up about life after her husband Will Arnett and also her dating life, including a date with former Full House cast member John Stamos.

The 43-year-old comedienne talked to the radio host about her dating life following the end of her 10-year marriage to the Arrested Development star.

"It was new and weird," the star explained of getting back on the dating scene. "I hadn't dated when there was texting. I got married in 2003 and all of a sudden I'm like, 'Oh, right, now you text somebody.' That was new."

She also talks about being out to dinner with John Stamos and not knowing whether it was a date or not.

"There were times when I was out with guys and I was like, 'Oh, I think I might be on a date, but I don't know,'" Amy explained. "I remember I was at dinner with John Stamos, I think if you just are around him you are ... handsome men are really something else."

"I was at a restaurant. We were having dinner and I was like, 'Oh. Maybe this is a date!'" the star continued. "But I didn't know. I kinda blew it."

She talks going out to dinner after they were done working for the day on their movie They Came Together.

"We worked on a movie. He did a little bit in a movie that I did and a bunch of us hung out. And then later on he's like, 'Let's go get dinner.' And it was fine," the star revealed. "I remember thinking like, 'Oh, s--t. Like, if this is really a date ...' I think I was wearing a Leslie Knope Top. I think I was wearing a shirt from work."

Don't worry, Amy, we've definitely had our fair share of awkward dates as well. For more on Poehler's dating life, pick up her book Yes Please when it hits stores tomorrow.
