The Seattle Seahawks may be the defending Super Bowl champions, but that hasn't stopped them from being ruthless in the trade market. With the NFL trade deadline closing in, could they let star players Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch follow Golden Tate and Percy Harvin out the door? The talented foursome may have had their time, and the Seahawks aren't rejecting the incoming trade offers for their star duo, but coach Peter Carroll has had his say, so will he be let Lynch leave as they attempt to rebuild their championship-winning team?

Carroll insisted the trade rumors surrounding Lynch were foolish, yet things have been said and meant little before regarding their camp.

He explained he had "nothing to say about that, because there's nothing to that. I have no idea where that came from. We have nothing to say about that. At this point, I don't think it behooves us to try to respond to all of these kind of things in the locker room. Our players have told you how they feel, our coaches have told you how we feel, and we're in a really good place right now. It's just not worth it. There's nothing to that at all. I don't know where that came from."

The Seahawks have had their struggles this season, looking far from the near-unbeatable side they were in their Super Bowl-winning season. Sadly, the blame has fallen to one-time heroes Wilson and Lynch. Perhaps they'll see the season out, but could they soon be on the trade block, too? The Seahawks have tasted success, and it seems they're prepared to do anything to get back there.

Should they trade their duo, or where going to? Comment below!
