Julia Roberts On Plastic Surgery: 'I've Already Taken A Big Risk In Not Having Had A Facelift'

For Julia Roberts, the actress has become an anomaly in the Hollywood world by not getting plastic surgery. The actress, 47, opens up to U.K.'s You Magazine, regarding her decision. "By Hollywood standards, I guess I've already taken a big risk in not having had a facelift," The Normal Heart actress said to the magazine while promoting her role as beauty ambassador with Lancome.

"But I've told Lancome that I want to be an aging model — so they have to keep me for at least five more years until I'm over 50," she said.

The A-list star joined the Lancome family in 2010. She joined the makeup brand to help promote the technologically advanced foundation Teint Miracle Lit-from-Within Makeup.

In recent headlines, Renee Zellweger has made a frenzy in the media and social media with her "new look," with questionable plastic surgery being the cause for this. So how did Roberts bypass the constant presence of surgery?

Roberts became engrossed with yoga and calming her mind as a middle-aged women.

"Studying yoga on a more conscious level," The Pretty Woman actress said.

"It's about non-grasping, non-hoarding, cleaning out your closet, dusting out your mind and letting go of the things that weigh you down mentally and emotionally. There's a lightness to my life now — an airy quality of not taking things too seriously. That's happiness," she said.
