Stars of 19 Kids & Counting Jill Duggar and husband Derick Dillard are going old school and planning to deliver their baby at home. The reality stars, currently expecting their first child together, revealed they will be doing a home birth and that they are currently taking classes to prepare for the big arrival.

The stars were in New York City earlier this week, where they caught up with E! News as they shopped for clothes and baby items together. As we previously reported, the couple revealed they are having a baby boy, which will make shopping for clothes and toys easier on them.

They also spoke to the news site about what they have been doing to get ready for the upcoming birth.

"We're taking Bradley [Method] birth classes right now," Derick explained to the site.

Jill explained that going to the classes is important for them because then Derick will know what to do when the time comes for birthing the baby.

"Yeah, [it's] husband-coached childbirth," the soon-to-be mom explained, adding "so that he can know how to help me in labor and in pregnancy — and that's what I want the most, is [for] him to be able to know what to do when that comes."

The Inquisitr is also reporting on the pregnancy preparations, saying the couple plans to have a midwife present at the house during the delivery. Jill has also gone through training to become a midwife, so she's already prepared on what to expect when the time comes.
